Pressure Sand Filter
We offer fully automatic/hand operated pressure sand
filters in different sizes and materials. Pressure sand filters are most
suitable for removing the suspended solids from water. In these filters, the
filtration medium has multiple layer of sand, where each layer has different
specific gravity.
Pressure sand filters are provided with water pump for generating necessary
operating pressure. For filtration, water is passed through multi-grade sand
filter at a pressure of 3.5 kg/cm2 that reduce the presence of suspended
solids in the water.
The filter effectively removes suspended solids of sizes up to 30 – 50
micron to around 5 ppm. The pressure sand filter requires to be washed for
20 to 30 minutes with normal water.

Pressure Sand Filter FR Series
FR series pressure sand filters comprise of fiber glass
reinforced plastic (FGRP) composite vessels. The use of FGRP makes them
lighter by 1/3 of the total weight of carbon steel. Moreover, the strength
of FGRP is equivalent to steel. Requiring minimum maintenance, these FGRP
composite vessels have aesthetic appearance.

- Thermoplastic liner of polyester
- Excellent bonding between PE liner & inlet
- Effective curing at higher temperature
- Both top and bottom opening
- NSF & PED certified vessels

vessel diameter)
- Vessel diameter ranging from 200 mm to 1000 mm
- Diameter 450 mm onwards
- 450 mm onward flange fitting
- 10.5 kgf/cm2 operating pressure
- 490 degree C operating temperature
- 250,000 times cycle test from 10 psi to 150 psi

Our MS series pressure sand filters consists of mild steel
vessels. These pressure sand filter systems are low cost alternative to FGRP
and stainless steel vessels. Made of high quality mild steel, our pressure
sand filters are used in those applications where high quantity of water is
required to filter. These filters are highly functional in :

series and mild steel series. Our activated carbon filters are very
effective against organic compounds and impurities. Designed and developed
as per the international standards, our activated carbon filters are highly
durable and available at competitive prices.

The FR series of activated carbon filters

These NSF & PED certified vessels have 1/3rd the weight of carbon steel
but equivalent strength. Moreover, these vessels have aesthetic appearance
and require minimum maintenance.
